2018 in Review
Well, 2018 is almost over. What a fascinating year it has been. Like the previous year, it's been kinda mixed, although there were more good things that happened this year than bad.
Let's get some of the bad stuff out of the way: I was forced to cut off contact with Gary Goddard after hearing more horrifying allegations made against him and eventually losing hope in him, I had to bear witness to the declining sanity of people I used to respect such as Butch Hartman and Doug Walker, we had to deal with the loss of great people that I wish I met such as Steffan Karl, Stan Lee, and Stephen Hillenburg, and I had to spend almost the first half of
OutFOXed Update: Monarch Film Fest Aftermath
Hey everyone, just wanted to thank all of you who came to the Monarch Film Festival last night and/or showed their support for "OutFOXed!" This was an incredible moment for both me and the short, as not only was it nominated for "Best Student Narrative", but was also the ONLY animated entry in the entire film festival. It was really surprising to hear about the latter, but one of the festival's directors and founders told me that she really loved the short as it reminded her of the classic cartoons of the past, and that Maxwell really made her smile a lot.

So if you guys remember my last journal post, I mentioned that I wrote an article about "OutFOXed!" for a magazine called Write and Forge.
